How The Calculator Works
1. Weight
You can choose every whole kilogram from 1kg through to 45kg. Feeding estimates are interpolated between the adult guide points so customers don’t have to force their dog into a broad weight bracket.
2. Recipe & pack size
Each recipe uses its own current pack sizes and prices. Where a 5 × 4kg option exists, we show it as a dedicated stock-up choice and compare its subscription cost against smaller orders.
Adult guide used: <5kg: <100g/day; 5–10kg: 80–130g/day; 10–25kg: 130–250g/day; 25–50kg: >250–400g/day. Individual dogs may need more or less depending on activity, age, body condition, metabolism and treats.
Why Puppy Food Is Not In This Calculator
Puppies need a different calculation because intake changes with age, growth stage and expected adult size.
